The Dagestan State Medical University has the keen research interest in making the university a centre of research for the deep development in the university. All this research and development led the university to become a large educational, scientific and medical centre. The structure consists of 5 departments, of two large bases for fundamental and practical research, which is an extensive network of all profiles clinical sites (over than 40), 75 departments, headed by Doctors and Professors.
